#NiftyNashville What a pleasant surprise. A lovely mix of old and new city and country, Nashville is niceeeee
Drive time: 4.5 hours
Drive conditions: Excellent ( avoid rush hours) with sprawling mountain views along the way!
A place to rest: Hojo in Opryland was great and clean, convenient to all however there is a nightclub behind the hotel so you may hear noise and music at 1am.
Show me the city: Again, I attempted to find a Groupon in Nashville but there are so many choices I decided to wait until I arrived. I did have a dinner date with an old friend so we chose not to do any excursion but to have a great dinner with great friends and their new addition!
For the Foodies: #TheOldSchoolNashville is a farm to table experience and simply, fantastic. Delicious food, I particularly liked the candied jalapenos and the at home feel. Cornholing out in the back and some good ol’ live country music. Set on a farm, the property is beautiful and looks like it is expanding.
Treats: Indulged in dessert at The Old School, after the filling meal we had we all shared just one chocolate mouse and it was fantastic!
Good to know: Beautiful homes and well-kept neighborhoods. Maybe I will move there? I really like it in Nashville! *joke* it gets too cold in Nashville for my blood. Definitely will visit again Nashville was great and needs to be explored.
We are heading North, can you handle the altitude?
AHHHH, we want food
Thank you Old School for this masterpiece
